🍽️ Leaf salad with ham and tomato skewers

Ingredients
- 2 Romaine lettuce hearts
- 1 bunch arugula
- 0.5 bunch basil
- 24 mini mozzarella balls
- 12 cherry tomatoes
- 1 cantaloupe melon
- 8 slices Parma ham
- 3 tsp basil pesto
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp mustard (medium hot)
- 4 tbsp white balsamic vinegar
- 4 tbsp water
- salt
- pepper
Instructions
- 1. Wash the salads thoroughly.
- 2. Spin the greens dry.
- 3. Tear the romaine lettuce into bite-sized pieces.
- 4. Remove the tough stems from the arugula.
- 5. Mix the greens in a bowl.
- 6. Season the leaves lightly with salt.
- 7. Divide the salad among four small plates.
- 8. Wash the tomatoes.
- 9. Cut the tomatoes in half.
- 10. Let the mozzarella balls drain well.
- 11. Halve the melon.
- 12. Remove the seeds from the melon.
- 13. Peel the melon.
- 14. Cut the flesh into cubes.
- 15. Aim for a size of about 2 to 3 centimeters.
- 16. Season the melon cubes with pepper.
- 17. Toss the mozzarella balls in the pesto sauce.
- 18. Thread the mozzarella balls and tomato halves alternately onto wooden skewers.
- 19. Use two skewers per person.
- 20. Whisk all the dressing ingredients together.
- 21. Adjust the seasoning of the dressing.
- 22. Drizzle the dressing over the salads.
- 23. Scatter the melon cubes over the greens.
- 24. Place two slices of ham next to them.
- 25. Serve the dish garnished with the skewers.
