  1. 1. Turn on the oven and set it to 180 degrees Celsius with fan circulation.
  2. 2. Roll out the puff pastry on a work surface until it is thin enough to fit perfectly into your tart pan.
  3. 3. Carefully place the rolled-out dough into the greased pan and press it down gently.
  4. 4. Melt the butter in a small saucepan or in the microwave.
  5. 5. Stir the Calvados and honey into the melted butter until you have a uniform mixture.
  6. 6. Wash the apples thoroughly under running water.
  7. 7. Cut the apples into four equal quarters.
  8. 8. Remove the core from each apple quarter.
  9. 9. Slice the cored apple quarters into thin wedges.
  10. 10. Arrange the apple wedges in a fan shape, close together, on the dough in the bottom of the pan.
  11. 11. Take a brush and coat the apple wedges with a portion of the Calvados butter mixture.
  12. 12. Put the tart into the preheated oven and bake it for about 35 minutes.
  13. 13. Take the tart out of the oven several times during baking and brush it with the remaining butter mixture.
  14. 14. Remove the tart from the oven as soon as it is baked golden brown.
  15. 15. Cut the tart into pieces and serve it either still warm or completely cooled down.
