🍽️ Crispy Apple Tart Made with Puff Pastry

Ingredients
- 250 g puff pastry (frozen)
- soft butter (for the tart pan)
- 20 g butter
- 40 ml Calvados
- 1 tbsp honey
- 2 tart apples
Instructions
- 1. Turn on the oven and set it to 180 degrees Celsius with fan circulation.
- 2. Roll out the puff pastry on a work surface until it is thin enough to fit perfectly into your tart pan.
- 3. Carefully place the rolled-out dough into the greased pan and press it down gently.
- 4. Melt the butter in a small saucepan or in the microwave.
- 5. Stir the Calvados and honey into the melted butter until you have a uniform mixture.
- 6. Wash the apples thoroughly under running water.
- 7. Cut the apples into four equal quarters.
- 8. Remove the core from each apple quarter.
- 9. Slice the cored apple quarters into thin wedges.
- 10. Arrange the apple wedges in a fan shape, close together, on the dough in the bottom of the pan.
- 11. Take a brush and coat the apple wedges with a portion of the Calvados butter mixture.
- 12. Put the tart into the preheated oven and bake it for about 35 minutes.
- 13. Take the tart out of the oven several times during baking and brush it with the remaining butter mixture.
- 14. Remove the tart from the oven as soon as it is baked golden brown.
- 15. Cut the tart into pieces and serve it either still warm or completely cooled down.
