🍽️ Crispy Puff Pastry Crumble Cookies

Ingredients
- 450 g puff pastry frozen, (1 package)
- 1 egg yolk (M)
- 2 tbsp condensed milk
- 150 g butter
- 225 g flour
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 80 g sugar
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 225 g apricot jam
Instructions
- 1. Let the puff pastry sheets thaw next to each other.
- 2. Melt the butter.
- 3. Put flour, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla sugar into a bowl.
- 4. Pour the melted butter over the dry ingredients.
- 5. Mix everything with your fingers until crumbly streusel forms.
- 6. Cut rectangles of about 6 by 4 centimeters from the puff pastry.
- 7. Place the dough pieces on baking sheets lined with baking paper.
- 8. Whisk the egg yolk with the condensed milk in a small bowl.
- 9. Brush the puff pastry with the egg yolk and milk mixture.
- 10. Warm the apricot jam slightly until it becomes more fluid.
- 11. Spread the warm jam thinly over the dough.
- 12. Distribute the prepared streusel evenly on top.
- 13. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees (Gas Level 3-4 or Fan 180 degrees).
- 14. Bake the cookies for 12 to 15 minutes until golden brown.
