  1. 1. Wash the leafy greens thoroughly and dry them well. Then tear or cut the greens into small, bite-sized pieces.
  2. 2. Roughly chop the hazelnuts and toast them briefly in a pan until they are lightly fragrant.
  3. 3. Whisk vinegar, mustard, apple syrup, salt, and pepper together in a bowl. Then beat the oils into the mixture using a whisk.
  4. 4. Wash the apple, dry it, and peel it if desired. Cut it into quarters, remove the core, and slice the flesh into very thin pieces.
  5. 5. Wash the chives, shake off excess water, and cut them into small rings about three centimeters long.
  6. 6. Toss the leafy greens, apple slices, and dressing together. Divide the salad onto plates and sprinkle the toasted nuts and chives on top.
