Ingredients
- 4 pears
- 0.8 l fruit vinegar
- 2 cinnamon sticks
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the pears under running water.
- 2. Pat the fruits dry with a clean kitchen towel.
- 3. Cut each pear in half through the center.
- 4. Remove the core from the pear halves.
- 5. Slice the pear halves into thin wedges.
- 6. Place the pear wedges into two prepared jam jars.
- 7. Add the cinnamon sticks to the jars with the pears.
- 8. Pour vinegar into the jars until they are completely full.
- 9. Seal the jars tightly with the lids.
- 10. Store the jars in a cool and dry place for two weeks.
- 11. Strain the liquid through a fine sieve after the waiting period.
- 12. Pour the strained vinegar into a clean and sterile container.
