Ingredients
- 4 ripe pears (e.g. Williams Christ)
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 150 g blue cheese
- 2 tbsp whole hazelnuts
- 6 tbsp honey
- mint (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Preheat your grill.
- 2. Wash the pears, cut them in half, and remove the core using a melon baller. Rub the cut surfaces with lemon juice.
- 3. Cut the cheese into small cubes.
- 4. Place the pears cut-side down on the hot grill and grill for 2 to 3 minutes. Turn them, fill the hollowed-out areas with the cheese, and close the grill or cover the pears with aluminum foil. Grill for another 2 to 3 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- 5. Roughly chop the nuts and toast them in a pan without oil until golden brown.
- 6. Warm the honey. Plate the pears, drizzle with the honey, sprinkle with the nuts, and serve garnished with mint leaves.
