  1. 1. Toast the almond slices in a pan without any added fat until golden brown, then set them aside.
  2. 2. Wash the pears, cut them into quarters, remove the core, and dice them. Place the cubes in a large bowl. Rinse the lemon under hot water, zest it, and squeeze out the juice. Mix one teaspoon of lemon zest with half of the juice into the pear cubes.
  3. 3. Stir the quark with the yogurt, the remaining lemon juice, the syrup, the honey, and the almonds until smooth. Pour this mixture over the pears.
