  1. 1. Peel the kiwis and cut the flesh into small cubes.
  2. 2. Wash the pears and pat them dry. Cut them into quarters, remove the core, and dice them as well.
  3. 3. Rinse the lime and dry it. Peel the skin into thin, fine strips using a vegetable peeler (this technique is called julienne).
  4. 4. Squeeze the lime. Add the kiwi and pear cubes along with ice cubes to a stand mixer (or use a hand blender in a tall jug). Blend the mixture until smooth. Stir in the lime juice, garnish with the lime strips, and enjoy immediately.
