Ingredients
- 2 Baguette rolls
- 1 rump steak (ca. 250 g)
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1 tomato
- arugula
- mayonnaise
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Heat clarified butter in a pan.
- 2. Fry the steak in the hot fat for 3 to 4 minutes on the first side.
- 3. Fry the steak for another 3 to 4 minutes on the second side.
- 4. Season the meat with salt and pepper.
- 5. Let the steak cool down completely.
- 6. Slice the cold steak into thin pieces.
- 7. Cut the rolls horizontally.
- 8. Spread mayonnaise on the bottom halves of the rolls.
- 9. Place arugula on the mayonnaise.
- 10. Distribute the steak strips evenly over the arugula.
- 11. Place the tomato slices on the meat.
- 12. Season the tomatoes lightly with salt and pepper.
- 13. Cover the filling with the top halves of the rolls.
- 14. Wrap the finished rolls tightly in wax paper.
