🍰 Strawberry Waffle Ice Cream Sandwiches

Ingredients
- 400 g fresh, ripe strawberries
- 500 g natural yogurt
- 4 tbsp powdered sugar
- 150 ml whipping cream
- 24 strawberry waffles (approx. 8x4 cm each)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the strawberries thoroughly.
- 2. Remove the green stems from the berries.
- 3. Take one-third of the strawberries and puree them finely.
- 4. Press the puree through a fine sieve to make it completely smooth.
- 5. Cut the remaining two-thirds of the strawberries into small cubes.
- 6. Mix the yogurt thoroughly with the smooth strawberry puree and the powdered sugar.
- 7. Gently fold the cut strawberry cubes into the yogurt mixture.
- 8. Whip the cream until stiff.
- 9. Gently fold the whipped cream into the entire mixture.
- 10. Line a rectangular dish (15x20 cm) with cling film.
- 11. Pour the yogurt-cream mixture into the lined dish.
- 12. Place the dish in the freezer compartment for about 4 hours.
- 13. Take the frozen ice cream out of the dish.
- 14. Cut the ice cream into 12 equal pieces.
- 15. Place one piece of strawberry ice cream on a waffle.
- 16. Cover the ice cream with a second waffle.
- 17. Serve the sandwiches immediately.
