Ingredients
- 1 kg strawberries
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 1 kg jam sugar
Instructions
- 1. Thoroughly wash the strawberries under running water.
- 2. Remove the green stems and leaves from the fruit.
- 3. Cut the strawberries into small pieces.
- 4. Puree the fruit finely using a blender or hand blender.
- 5. Pour the pureed strawberries into a cooking pot.
- 6. Add the lemon juice and jam sugar to the pot.
- 7. Stir the ingredients well together.
- 8. Bring the mixture to a boil while stirring constantly.
- 9. Let the jam simmer for about 4 minutes.
- 10. Turn off the heat.
- 11. Remove the rising foam with a spoon.
- 12. Place a few drops of the warm jam onto a cold plate.
- 13. Check if the drops become firm and do not spread.
- 14. Fill the hot jam into prepared jars that have been rinsed with hot water.
- 15. Fill the jars just below the rim.
- 16. Seal the jars tightly with the lids.
- 17. Let the jars cool down completely.
