  1. 1. Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
  2. 2. Let the puff pastry thaw side by side.
  3. 3. Lightly brush the dough sheets with water.
  4. 4. Stack the sheets on top of each other.
  5. 5. Roll the dough into a rectangle approx. 25 x 40 cm.
  6. 6. Cut strips approx. 2.5 cm wide from all sides.
  7. 7. Brush the edge of the dough with egg yolk.
  8. 8. Place the cut strips as a frame on top.
  9. 9. Press the strips firmly.
  10. 10. Brush the entire surface with egg yolk.
  11. 11. Prick the base several times with a fork.
  12. 12. Line with baking paper.
  13. 13. Weigh down the baking paper with legumes.
  14. 14. Bake the base in the preheated oven for approx. 20 - 25 min.
  15. 15. Wash the berries.
  16. 16. Remove bad parts.
  17. 17. Pat the berries dry.
  18. 18. Distribute the berries and the pistachios on the puff pastry.
  19. 19. Cut the strips into pieces to serve.
