🍽️ Beefsteak with Fried Onions

Ingredients
- 4 onions
- 1 tbsp butter
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 4 steaks (approx. 200 g each)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the onions, cut them in half, and slice them into strips. Heat butter and 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Fry the onion strips over low heat for 8 to 10 minutes until golden brown. Season with salt and pepper and remove from the pan.
- 2. Press the steaks slightly flat and season with salt and pepper. Fry them in the remaining hot oil in the pan. Cook for 2 to 4 minutes on each side, depending on your preference. Add the onions back in at the end, heat through briefly, and serve.
