Ingredients
- 1 shallot
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 tbsp oil
- 100 ml tomato juice
- 150 g ketchup
- 1 tsp mixed pepper
- dried parsley
- salt
- cayenne pepper
Instructions
- 1. Peel the shallot and garlic and chop them finely. Put the vegetables in a pan with hot oil and sweat them for a short time. Add freshly ground pepper and pour in the tomato juice.
- 2. Let the mixture simmer gently for about 5 minutes. Then blend the sauce until smooth. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the ketchup. Season everything to taste with parsley, salt, and cayenne pepper.
