🍽️ Bavarian Grated Dumplings

Ingredients
- 4 rolls
- 125 ml milk (1.5% fat)
- 1 kg raw potatoes
- 500 g boiled potatoes
- salt
Instructions
- 1. Pour hot milk over the bread rolls and let them soften.
- 2. Peel and wash the raw potatoes.
- 3. Grate the raw potatoes finely.
- 4. Squeeze the grated potatoes dry using a kitchen towel.
- 5. Mash the soaked bread rolls into the bowl.
- 6. Mix the dry raw potatoes, the mashed rolls, and the pre-cooked potatoes well together.
- 7. Season the potato mixture with salt.
- 8. Wet your hands with water.
- 9. Shape dumplings from the mixture using your damp hands.
- 10. Bring water to a boil in a pot and add salt.
- 11. Place the dumplings into the boiling, salted water.
- 12. Cook the dumplings for about 15 minutes until they float to the top.
