  1. 1. Wash the herbs thoroughly and shake off excess water. Then carefully pluck the leaves from the stems.
  2. 2. Peel the garlic clove and crush it roughly. Add it to the blender along with the parsley and basil leaves, pine nuts, and three tablespoons of Creme Fraiche. Puree the mixture until smooth.
  3. 3. Heat the vegetable broth in a pot. Stir the prepared herb cream into the hot broth.
  4. 4. Add the butter to the soup. Blend everything with an immersion blender until frothy. Season the soup to taste with salt and pepper. Ladle the soup into bowls, top with a dollop of the remaining Creme Fraiche, and garnish with fresh herbs or flowers as desired.
