🍽️ Creamy Basil Potato Dip

Ingredients
- 200 g potatoes (floury)
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 bunch basil
- 1 tbsp crème fraîche
- 50 ml olive oil
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the potatoes thoroughly.
- 2. Steam the unpeeled potatoes for about 30 minutes until they are soft.
- 3. Peel the warm potatoes.
- 4. Press the potatoes through a potato ricer into a bowl.
- 5. Let the potato mixture cool down briefly so that the steam can escape.
- 6. Finely chop one clove of garlic.
- 7. Finely chop fresh basil.
- 8. Add the chopped garlic, chopped basil, Creme Fraîche, and lemon juice to the potato mixture.
- 9. Mix all ingredients well together.
- 10. Gradually stir in olive oil into the mixture.
- 11. Continue stirring until the cream is smooth and creamy.
- 12. Finally season the cream with salt and pepper to taste.
