  1. 1. Peel the bananas and mash them thoroughly in a bowl using a fork.
  2. 2. Add the egg, the quark, the butter, and the mashed banana to the bowl.
  3. 3. Wash the orange under hot water and dry it thoroughly.
  4. 4. Grate some of the peel and squeeze out the juice.
  5. 5. Add the peel and juice to the batter and stir everything well.
  6. 6. Mix the flour with the baking powder and the semolina in a separate bowl.
  7. 7. Stir the flour mixture into the batter quickly until just combined.
  8. 8. Place the paper liners into the cups of a muffin tin.
  9. 9. Fill the liners with the batter.
  10. 10. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius conventional heat (160 degrees Celsius fan-assisted; gas mark 2 to 3).
  11. 11. Bake the muffins for 25 to 30 minutes.
  12. 12. Check the muffins with a wooden skewer inserted into the center to see if it comes out clean.
  13. 13. Take the muffins out of the oven.
  14. 14. Let them cool down slightly.
  15. 15. Dust them with powdered sugar.
