  1. 1. Pour 125 milliliters of water and the millet flakes into a small pot.
  2. 2. Place the pot on the stove and set the heat to low.
  3. 3. Stir the mixture constantly until it starts to boil.
  4. 4. Let the porridge simmer on low heat for about 3 minutes.
  5. 5. Remove the pot from the stove and set it aside.
  6. 6. Peel the banana.
  7. 7. Cut the banana into small cubes.
  8. 8. Rinse the berries under running water.
  9. 9. Pat the berries dry with a kitchen towel.
  10. 10. Remove any hard stems or leaves from the berries.
  11. 11. Cut very large berries in half or quarters.
  12. 12. Add the banana pieces and the berries to the pot with the millet.
  13. 13. Mash the ingredients together with a fork to form a porridge.
  14. 14. Optionally puree the mixture briefly with a hand blender for a smooth texture.
  15. 15. Stir the oil into the finished porridge.
  16. 16. Serve the porridge lukewarm.
