🍽️ Chicken Bami Goreng

Ingredients
- 400 g Asian egg noodles
- salt
- 200 g chicken breast fillet
- 3 spring onions
- 2 carrots
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 4 chard leaves
- 2 garlic cloves
- 10 g ginger
- 4 tbsp soybean oil
- 3 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp sambal oelek
- 1 tbsp sweet soy sauce
- 0.25 bunch fresh coriander stems
Instructions
- 1. Cook the noodles in salted water exactly according to the package instructions.
- 2. Drain the noodles and let them drip dry well.
- 3. Rinse the meat under cold water.
- 4. Pat the meat dry with kitchen paper.
- 5. Cut the meat into thin strips.
- 6. Wash the spring onions.
- 7. Trim the ends of the spring onions.
- 8. Slice the spring onions into rings.
- 9. Peel the carrot.
- 10. Halve the carrot lengthwise.
- 11. Quarter the carrot halves.
- 12. Cut small batons from the carrots.
- 13. Wash the bell peppers.
- 14. Halve the bell peppers.
- 15. Remove the seeds from the bell peppers.
- 16. Slice the bell peppers into thin strips.
- 17. Wash the chard leaves.
- 18. Remove the stems from the chard leaves.
- 19. Slice the chard leaves into thin strips.
- 20. Peel the garlic.
- 21. Peel the ginger.
- 22. Chop the garlic and ginger finely.
- 23. Heat the oil in a wok or a large frying pan.
- 24. Add the chicken breast to the pan.
- 25. Add the garlic to the pan.
- 26. Add the ginger to the pan.
- 27. Add the Sambal Oelek to the pan.
- 28. Fry everything over high heat.
- 29. Fry for 4 minutes while stirring constantly.
- 30. Add the bell peppers to the pan.
- 31. Add the spring onions to the pan.
- 32. Add the carrots to the pan.
- 33. Add the chard to the pan.
- 34. Stir-fry the vegetables for another 2 minutes.
- 35. Add the noodles to the pan.
- 36. Add the soy sauce to the pan.
- 37. Add the Ketjap Manis (sweet soy sauce) to the pan.
- 38. Mix well.
- 39. Cook for 2 minutes.
- 40. Season the dish with salt to taste.
- 41. Wash the coriander leaves.
- 42. Shake off excess water from the coriander leaves.
- 43. Serve the Bami Goreng garnished with the coriander leaves.
