🍽️ Tuna Sandwiches with Apple and Herb Cream

Ingredients
- 2 Baguette rolls
- 3 tbsp Crème fraîche
- 2 leaves Oak leaf lettuce
- 10 cm Salad cucumber
- 0.5 tart apple
- 100 g Tuna (in its own juice, from a can)
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 tbsp small capers
- 2 tbsp chive rings
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- Salt
- Pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the rolls horizontally through the middle.
- 2. Spread the inside of the bottom roll halves with half a tablespoon of crème fraîche each.
- 3. Wash the lettuce leaves under running water.
- 4. Shake the leaves dry.
- 5. Tear the lettuce leaves into bite-sized pieces.
- 6. Place half of the lettuce pieces on the spread roll halves.
- 7. Peel the cucumber if desired.
- 8. Slice the cucumber into thin rounds.
- 9. Distribute the cucumber slices over the lettuce.
- 10. Wash the apple.
- 11. Grate the apple coarsely.
- 12. Open the can of tuna.
- 13. Drain the water from the can.
- 14. Roughly flake the tuna with a fork.
- 15. Take the remaining crème fraîche.
- 16. Mix the crème fraîche with the sour cream.
- 17. Stir the capers into the cream.
- 18. Add the lemon juice to the mixture.
- 19. Fold in the chopped chives.
- 20. Season the cream with salt to taste.
- 21. Season the cream with pepper to taste.
- 22. Take two-thirds of the finished herb cream.
- 23. Gently fold the cream into the tuna.
- 24. Spread the tuna cream mixture onto the roll halves.
- 25. Sprinkle the grated apple pieces over the filling.
- 26. Add the remaining herb cream on top.
- 27. Cover everything with the remaining lettuce leaves.
- 28. Place the top roll halves on.
- 29. Serve the sandwiches immediately.
