🥤 Spicy Ayurveda Tea

Ingredients
- 1 tsp peppercorns
- 1 tsp fennel seeds
- 6 cardamom pods
- 40 g ginger
- 12 cloves
- 3 star anise
- 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions
- 1. Place the pepper and fennel in a mortar and crush them for a few seconds. Crack the cardamom pods open using the back of a knife. Wash the ginger and cut it into small cubes.
- 2. Add the spices to a hot pot and toast them briefly over medium heat. Then add the ginger and about 1.2 liters of water and bring the mixture to a boil. Let the tea simmer over low heat for about 25 to 30 minutes.
- 3. Strain the homemade tea and pour it into four cups.
