  1. 1. Place cinnamon, cardamom, and cloves in a non-stick pan. Toast the spices over medium heat for about 2 minutes without adding any oil or fat.
  2. 2. Transfer the toasted spices to a pot and cover with 500 milliliters of water. Bring the water to a boil, reduce the heat to low, and let the tea simmer gently under a lid for about 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add the milk and sweetener to taste. Bring the mixture back to a boil, remove the pot from the heat, and let it steep for about 4 minutes. Strain the finished Ayurvedic Spiced Tea into a teapot and serve immediately while hot.
