  1. 1. Slice the vanilla pod lengthwise.
  2. 2. Scrape out the tiny seeds from the pod.
  3. 3. Place the milk, vanilla seeds, and empty pod in a pot.
  4. 4. Heat the mixture and let it simmer gently for about 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Remove the pot from the heat.
  6. 6. Let the milk cool down completely.
  7. 7. Remove the vanilla pod from the milk.
  8. 8. Cut the avocado in half.
  9. 9. Carefully remove the flesh.
  10. 10. Place the flesh, lemon juice, and cooled vanilla milk in a blender.
  11. 11. Puree everything until smooth.
  12. 12. Spread the cream onto your plates.
  13. 13. Wash the strawberries.
  14. 14. Pat the berries dry with a kitchen towel.
  15. 15. Remove the green stems.
  16. 16. Cut the berries into quarters or thin slices.
  17. 17. Arrange the strawberries nicely on top of the avocado cream.
