  1. 1. Rinse the cilantro, shake it dry, and pluck the leaves from the stems. Trim the spring onions, rinse them, let them drain, and slice them into thin rings.
  2. 2. Cut the avocados in half and remove the pits. Scoop the flesh out of the skins with a spoon and place it in a blender or tall container along with the cilantro and spring onion rings.
  3. 3. Squeeze the lime. Add 3 tablespoons of juice, wasabi paste (a spicy Japanese paste), kefir (a fermented milk drink), and yogurt to the avocado mixture.
  4. 4. Blend everything in a blender or with a hand blender (an electric immersion blender). Add the ice cubes gradually. Season the avocado smoothie with salt and pepper and pour it into glasses.
