🍽️ Avocado Tartlets with Shrimp

Ingredients
- 3 ripe avocados
- 150 g cream cheese (plain)
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
- 1 pinch chili powder
- 200 g cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 12 slices toast bread
- 1 bunch chives
- 1 untreated grapefruit
- dill tips (for garnish)
Instructions
- 1. Cut the avocados in half.
- 2. Remove the pits.
- 3. Scoop out the flesh from the avocado halves.
- 4. Place the flesh and cream cheese into a blender.
- 5. Blend the mixture until smooth.
- 6. Season the cream with lemon juice, salt, pepper, and chili.
- 7. Set aside 16 shrimp.
- 8. Finely chop the remaining shrimp.
- 9. Use a 6 cm round cookie cutter to cut circles from the toast bread slices.
- 10. Spread the avocado cream onto 4 toast circles.
- 11. Place the chopped shrimp on top of the cream-covered toast circles.
- 12. Cover the layer with another toast circle.
- 13. Press the layers down gently.
- 14. Repeat the layering process two more times.
- 15. Always finish each tartlet stack with a layer of avocado cream.
- 16. Wash the chives and shake them dry.
- 17. Cut the chives into fine rings.
- 18. Use them to decorate the edges of the tartlets.
- 19. Peel the grapefruit and remove the white pith.
- 20. Separate the fruit segments from the membranes.
- 21. Cut the grapefruit segments in half.
- 22. Place the grapefruit segments and the reserved whole shrimp on top of the tartlets.
- 23. Serve the dish garnished with dill.
