  1. 1. Put the flour, the salt, and the baking powder into a large bowl.
  2. 2. Take the soft butter and the milk.
  3. 3. Beat the butter and milk with the hand mixer until you have a smooth mixture.
  4. 4. Stir the butter-milk mixture into the flour mixture.
  5. 5. If the dough is still too sticky, add a little more flour and stir it in.
  6. 6. Cover the bowl.
  7. 7. Put the dough in the fridge for about 30 minutes.
  8. 8. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius fan-forced.
  9. 9. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  10. 10. Wash the spring onions thoroughly.
  11. 11. Trim the hard ends of the spring onions.
  12. 12. Chop the spring onions finely.
  13. 13. Take the dough out of the fridge.
  14. 14. Add the chopped spring onions and the macadamia nuts to the dough.
  15. 15. Mix everything well together.
  16. 16. Shape the dough into a loaf.
  17. 17. Place the bread on the prepared baking tray.
  18. 18. Brush the surface of the bread with a little water.
  19. 19. Bake the bread in the oven for about 35 minutes until golden brown.
