🍽️ Oysters on a Mound of Sea Salt with Tomato Dip

Ingredients
- 12 oysters
- coarse sea salt
- 6 tbsp ketchup
- 1 tbsp mayonnaise
- 1 tbsp horseradish (jar)
- Tabasco
- lemon juice
Instructions
- 1. Clean the oysters and open them carefully. Pile the sea salt into a small mound on a flat plate. Lightly sprinkle the salt pile with ice-cold water to help it hold its shape. Arrange the opened oysters neatly on top of the salt mound.
- 2. For the sauce, stir the ketchup, mayonnaise, and horseradish in a bowl until smooth and free of lumps. Season the mixture with a few drops of Tabasco sauce, fresh lemon juice, and a pinch of salt. Serve the finished sauce directly alongside the oysters.
