Ingredients
- 25 g dried tomatoes in oil (4 dried tomatoes)
- 30 g small onions (1 small onion)
- 0.5 bunch basil
- 1 sprig thyme
- 100 g tofu
- 10 black olives (pitted)
- salt
- pepper
- 50 g mixed bread (1 slice) per serving
- 30 g salami (1 slice) per serving
- 30 g cherry tomatoes (1 handful) per serving
Instructions
- 1. Let the tomatoes drain over a small bowl to catch the oil. Then dice the tomatoes into very small cubes.
- 2. Peel the onion and dice it finely as well. Take one teaspoon of the tomato oil and heat it in a coated pan. Sauté the onions until golden yellow.
- 3. Wash the basil and thyme, shake them dry, and pluck off the leaves. Cut the tofu into cubes.
- 4. Put the tomatoes, onions, olives, basil, thyme, and tofu into a tall container. Add four tablespoons of tomato oil and blend everything finely with a hand blender. Season with salt and pepper.
- 5. For each portion, take one and a half tablespoons of the spread, spread it on a slice of bread, and top with a slice of salami. Wash the cherry tomatoes and serve them alongside. (Store the remaining spread in the refrigerator and consume it within one week.)
