  8. 8. Puree the garlic and ginger.
  9. 9. Mix the puree with the remaining marinade ingredients.
  10. 10. Place the beef in the marinade.
  11. 11. Let the beef marinate for at least 2 hours.
  12. 12. Wash the broccoli.
  13. 13. Remove the tough stems from the broccoli.
  14. 14. Peel the shallots.
  15. 15. Dice the shallots.
  16. 16. Remove the beef from the marinade.
  17. 17. Let the beef drain.
  18. 18. Store the marinade in a separate container.
  19. 19. Sear the beef in a wok or a frying pan.
  20. 20. Reduce the heat.
  21. 21. Simmer the beef for about 10 to 15 minutes.
