🍽️ Asian Dumplings (Dim Sum) with Sauce

Ingredients
- 250 g wheat starch
- boiling water
- 150 g chopped shrimp
- 0.5 tsp ginger (freshly grated)
- 1 tsp sesame oil
- salt
- 1 pinch sugar
Instructions
- 1. Put the wheat starch into a bowl.
- 2. Add the water gradually.
- 3. Knead the mixture into a smooth, pliable dough.
- 4. Roll the dough thinly.
- 5. Cut out circles with a diameter of 8 to 10 cm.
- 6. Put the shrimp into a separate bowl.
- 7. Add the ginger.
- 8. Add the sesame oil.
- 9. Add the sugar.
- 10. Add the salt.
- 11. Mix the filling ingredients well.
- 12. Place a spoonful of the filling in the center of a dough circle.
- 13. Fold the dumplings.
- 14. Press the edges alternately into each other.
- 15. Create a zigzag seam this way.
- 16. Place the dumplings in a bamboo basket.
- 17. Steam the dumplings for 8 to 10 minutes.
- 18. Serve the dumplings with chili sauce.
- 19. Or serve them with soy sauce.
