🍽️ Asian Meat Rolls on Pak Choi

Ingredients
- 12 beef minute steaks (each approx. 50 g)
- salt
- cayenne pepper
- 4 tbsp hoisin sauce
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- 2 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp chopped cilantro
- 4 spring onions
- 2 small pak choi
- 6 tbsp vegetable oil
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the meat pieces under cold water.
- 2. Press the meat pieces flat with your hand.
- 3. Season the meat with salt and cayenne pepper.
- 4. Mix hoisin sauce, tomato paste, lime juice, and chopped coriander in a small bowl.
- 5. Coat the meat pieces thinly with the prepared sauce.
- 6. Roll the meat pieces into small rolls.
- 7. Wash the spring onions thoroughly.
- 8. Cut off the root ends of the spring onions.
- 9. Shorten the green parts of the spring onions to a length of about 15 centimeters.
- 10. Carefully separate the pak choi into individual leaves.
- 11. Wash the pak choi leaves and let them drain well.
- 12. Heat two tablespoons of oil in a large pan.
- 13. Add the spring onions and pak choi to the hot pan.
- 14. Sauté the vegetables over medium heat for five to eight minutes until soft.
- 15. Heat the remaining oil in a second pan.
- 16. Fry the meat rolls briefly on all sides.
- 17. Pour the remaining seasoning sauce over the meat rolls.
- 18. Let the sauce absorb into the meat rolls briefly.
- 19. Arrange the sautéed spring onions and pak choi as desired on a plate.
- 20. Place three meat rolls on top of the vegetables.
- 21. Serve the dish drizzled with the remaining sauce.
