  1. 1. Squeeze the halved lemon into a bowl with approx. 1 liter of water.
  2. 2. Break off the stems of the artichokes and remove the coarse outer leaves.
  3. 3. Cut off the tips, trim the bases round and scrape out the tough inner part with a spoon. Cut the bases into quarters and place them in the lemon water.
  4. 4. Finely chop the dill, but keep a few tips for decoration.
  5. 5. Steam the vegetables in a steamer insert for approx. 8-10 minutes. Remove them, mix in a bowl with lemon juice and oil, season with salt and stir in the dill. Plate and decorate with the dill tips.
  6. 6. Serve with flatbread as desired.
