🍽️ Homemade Thyme and Peperoni Infused Oil

Ingredients
- 2 l olive oil (cold-pressed)
- 8 sprigs thyme
- 1 untreated lemon (zest)
- 3 garlic cloves
- 2 red chilies
Instructions
- 1. Take two clean bottles.
- 2. Divide the fresh thyme sprigs evenly between both bottles.
- 3. Add the lemon zest to the first bottle.
- 4. Add the peeled and halved garlic cloves to the second bottle.
- 5. Blanch the peperoni briefly with boiling water.
- 6. Prick the peperoni several times with a fork.
- 7. Add the prepared peperoni to the bottles.
- 8. Fill the bottles completely with oil.
- 9. Seal the bottles tightly.
- 10. Store the bottles in a cool and dark place.
- 11. Let the oil infuse for at least one week.
