🍰 Apricot Sauce

Ingredients
- 500 g apricots
- 1 piece ginger (2 cm)
- 1 vanilla pod
- 75 g raw cane sugar
- 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions
- 1. Wash the apricots thoroughly and remove the pits. Peel the ginger. Cut the vanilla pod lengthwise and scrape out the seeds with a knife.
- 2. Bring 250 milliliters of water to a boil together with the ginger, the vanilla pod, the vanilla seeds, and the cinnamon stick. Add the apricots and cook them for 6 to 8 minutes until soft.
- 3. Remove the apricots from the heat and let them cool down. Remove the ginger, the vanilla pod, and the cinnamon stick. Then puree the mixture finely using a hand blender.
