  2. 2. Place the apricot cubes into a pot.
  3. 3. Pour in the white wine.
  4. 4. Heat the mixture while stirring constantly until it boils.
  5. 5. Remove the pot from the heat.
  6. 6. Let the apricot mixture cool down completely.
  7. 7. Mix the flour with the yeast and the ground nutmeg.
  8. 8. Warm the yogurt briefly in a bowl with hot water.
  9. 9. Whisk the lukewarm yogurt with sugar, salt, and egg until the mixture is smooth.
  10. 10. Gently fold the yogurt-egg mixture into the flour mixture.
  11. 11. Knead the dough until it no longer sticks to your fingers.
  12. 12. Shape the dough into a long roll.
  13. 13. Divide the roll into 12 equal pieces.
  14. 14. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
  15. 15. Take a piece of dough and fill it with some of the cooled apricot mixture.
  16. 16. Shape the filled dough piece into a round ball.
  17. 17. Repeat this with all the dough pieces.
  18. 18. Melt some butter in a baking dish.
  19. 19. Place the dough balls close together in the dish.
  20. 20. Let the dough rise in a warm place for about 20 minutes.
  21. 21. Set the oven to 180 degrees Celsius again.
  22. 22. Brush the dumplings with melted butter.
  23. 23. Bake the dumplings for 30 minutes until golden brown.
  24. 24. Remove the dish from the oven.
  25. 25. Turn the dumplings out onto a plate immediately.
  26. 26. Dust the finished dumplings with powdered sugar.
