  1. 1. Finely chop the almonds using a large knife.
  2. 2. Squeeze the juice from half a lemon.
  3. 3. Wash the apple, pat it dry, halve it, and remove the core with a small knife. Cut each apple half into three thick slices.
  4. 4. Immediately drizzle the apple slices with the lemon juice and thread them onto two long wooden skewers.
  5. 5. Toast the almonds in a non-stick pan. Add butter and honey, let them caramelize, and stir in two tablespoons of water.
  6. 6. Place the apple skewers in the pan and fry them for about one and a half minutes on each side. Remove the skewers, place them on a plate, pour the almond caramel over them, and serve.
