  1. 1. Beat the egg vigorously in a bowl using a whisk.
  2. 2. Stir in the flour spoonful by spoonful until incorporated. Finally, stir in the mineral water to give the batter a thick and slightly foamy consistency.
  3. 3. Wash the apple, cut it into quarters, remove the core, and peel the pieces. Cut each quarter into 2 to 3 narrow wedges.
  4. 4. Dip the apple wedges one by one into the batter using a fork, let the excess batter drip off briefly, and fry them in hot oil over low heat until golden brown on each side.
  5. 5. Let the fried apple pieces drain on kitchen paper and cool slightly. Feed half of them right away, cover the rest and store it in a cool place to serve the next day.
