Ingredients
- 1 egg (S)
- 60 g wheat flour Type 1050 (4 tbsp)
- 6 tbsp mineral water (with carbonation)
- 200 g sweet apples (1 sweet apple)
- 2 tsp rapeseed oil
Instructions
- 1. Beat the egg vigorously in a bowl using a whisk.
- 2. Stir in the flour spoonful by spoonful until incorporated. Finally, stir in the mineral water to give the batter a thick and slightly foamy consistency.
- 3. Wash the apple, cut it into quarters, remove the core, and peel the pieces. Cut each quarter into 2 to 3 narrow wedges.
- 4. Dip the apple wedges one by one into the batter using a fork, let the excess batter drip off briefly, and fry them in hot oil over low heat until golden brown on each side.
- 5. Let the fried apple pieces drain on kitchen paper and cool slightly. Feed half of them right away, cover the rest and store it in a cool place to serve the next day.
