  1. 1. Wash the apple thoroughly, peel it, and pat it dry. Cut the apple into quarters, remove the core, and dice the flesh into small cubes.
  2. 2. Place the apple cubes with three tablespoons of water in a small pot. Cook them covered over medium heat for about five minutes until soft.
  3. 3. Meanwhile, put the oat flakes in a small bowl. Stir in the apple juice and let the mixture soak for a short time.
  4. 4. Mash the cooked apple with a fork. Stir the oil and the mashed apple into the oat flakes.
  5. 5. Add enough boiling water so that the porridge has a spoonable consistency. Let it cool down slightly before feeding.
