  1. 1. Turn on the oven to 175 degrees Celsius with top and bottom heat.
  2. 2. Peel the apples and grate them using a fine grater.
  3. 3. Mix flour, 100 grams of sugar, margarine, a packet of vanilla sugar, baking powder, and eggs with a hand mixer until the batter is smooth.
  4. 4. Gently fold the grated apples into the batter using a spoon.
  5. 5. Line a springform pan with baking paper and pour the batter into it.
  6. 6. Bake the cake for about 30 minutes at 175 degrees Celsius.
  7. 7. Check the baking time by inserting a wooden skewer into the center.
  8. 8. Remove the cake from the pan and take off the hard crust edge.
  9. 9. Place a cake ring tightly around the cake base.
  10. 10. Peel the remaining apples and cut them into small cubes.
  11. 11. Put the apple cubes into a pot with 75 milliliters of apple juice, cinnamon, 2 tablespoons of sugar, and the remaining vanilla sugar.
  12. 12. Slowly bring the mixture to a boil.
  13. 13. Simmer the apples for another 5 minutes.
  14. 14. Mix pudding powder with the remaining apple juice in a separate bowl until smooth.
  15. 15. Stir the pudding mixture into the boiling apples.
  16. 16. Let the filling boil for another 1 minute.
  17. 17. Remove the pot from the heat and spread the warm filling evenly over the cake base.
  18. 18. Place the cake in the refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours until the filling is firm.
  19. 19. Whip the cream until stiff.
  20. 20. Sweeten the cream to your taste.
  21. 21. Spread two-thirds of the cream evenly over the cake.
  22. 22. Fill the remaining cream into a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  23. 23. Pipe small rosettes of cream onto the cake.
  24. 24. Sprinkle the finished cake with pistachios.
