🍽️ Homemade Apple Chutney

Ingredients
- 2 kg apples
- 250 ml wine vinegar
- 400 g raw cane sugar
- 1 tbsp cardamom seeds
- 1 red chili pepper
- 2 garlic cloves
- 2 stalks celery
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Peel the apples, cut them into quarters, and remove the core. Dice the apple pieces finely and place them in a pot together with the vinegar, sugar, and cardamom.
- 2. Wash the chili pepper, cut it in half lengthwise, and slice it into thin strips. Peel the garlic and chop it finely.
- 3. Wash the celery, trim it, and dice it finely. Mix it together with the garlic and chili into the apples. Bring the mixture to a boil and let it simmer for about 40 minutes until a thick chutney forms.
- 4. Season the chutney with salt and pepper to taste. Fill it into prepared jars, seal them well, and let it cool down.
