  1. 1. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into a bowl with 250 milliliters of water. Wash the apple, remove the core with a cutter, and slice the fruit into 8 thick pieces. Place the slices in the lemon water for about 5 minutes.
  2. 2. Roughly chop the peanuts and stir them into the peanut butter. Pat the apple slices dry with a kitchen towel and spread the peanut butter mixture onto half of the slices.
  3. 3. Place one more apple slice on top of the spread halves and sprinkle the edges of the sandwiches with coconut flakes. Secure the sandwiches with toothpicks if desired and serve.
