Ingredients
- 2 handfuls untreated organic rose petals
- 800 ml apple juice
- 1 orange (juice)
- 1 lemon (juice)
- 500 g jam sugar (2:1)
- rose water (from the pharmacy)
Instructions
- 1. Wash the apples thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Peel the apples and remove the core.
- 3. Cut the apples into small cubes.
- 4. Put the apple cubes into a large pot.
- 5. Add the sugar to the pot with the apples.
- 6. Take half of the rose petals and add them to the pot.
- 7. Stir the ingredients in the pot well.
- 8. Place the pot on the stove and set the heat to medium.
- 9. Let the mixture simmer for about 15 minutes.
- 10. Check if the apples are soft.
- 11. Remove the pot from the heat when the apples are soft.
- 12. Puree the apple mixture finely with a hand blender.
- 13. Add the lemon juice to the pureed mixture.
- 14. Add the rose water to the mixture.
- 15. Stir in the lemon juice and rose water.
- 16. Get clean jars ready.
- 17. Fill the hot jam into the jars.
- 18. Seal the jars tightly with lids.
- 19. Place the jars upside down on a table.
- 20. Let the jars cool down.
