  1. 1. Wash the chicory thoroughly under running water.
  2. 2. Split the chicory in half lengthwise from the top.
  3. 3. Remove the hard stem base at the bottom of the chicory halves.
  4. 4. Cut the remaining chicory into thin strips.
  5. 5. Wash the chives under cold water.
  6. 6. Shake the chives dry.
  7. 7. Cut the chives into small rings.
  8. 8. Cut out star shapes from the cheese slices.
  9. 9. Wash the apples thoroughly.
  10. 10. Halve the apples.
  11. 11. Remove the core from the apple halves.
  12. 12. Cut the apple halves into thin wedges.
  13. 13. Fill the chicory strips into the raclette pans.
  14. 14. Place the apple wedges on top of the chicory.
  15. 15. Season the apple wedges with salt and pepper.
  16. 16. Top the apple wedges with the cheese stars.
  17. 17. Broil the raclette pans in the preheated raclette grill.
  18. 18. Bake the raclette pans for about 8 minutes.
