  1. 1. Wash the apple thoroughly, cut it into quarters, and remove the core. Then chop the apple pieces into coarse chunks.
  2. 2. Wash the currants and let them drain well in a sieve. Set aside a small cluster (rispe) for garnish and strip the remaining berries off the stems.
  3. 3. Squeeze the juice from the half grapefruit.
  4. 4. Place the chopped apples and the stripped currants into a juicer and extract the fresh juice.
  5. 5. Stir the juice well in a tall glass with the grapefruit juice and some ice cubes. Top up the glass with mineral water and garnish it with the reserved currant cluster.
