🍽️ Fresh and Fruity Shrimp and Apple Appetizer

Ingredients
- 12 cooked shrimp (peeled and deveined)
- 0.5 untreated lime
- 1 tsp coarsely chopped cilantro
- 0.25 tsp liquid honey
- 2 tbsp wheat germ oil
- 4 large sour green apples (e.g. Granny Smith)
- salt
- pepper (from the mill)
Instructions
- 1. Rinse the shrimp under running water.
- 2. Gently pat the shrimp dry with a kitchen towel.
- 3. Briefly rinse the lime with hot water.
- 4. Dry the lime.
- 5. Finely grate the green peel of the lime to get the zest.
- 6. Squeeze the lime.
- 7. Put the lime juice into a small bowl.
- 8. Add the coriander to the bowl.
- 9. Add the honey to the bowl.
- 10. Add two tablespoons of oil to the bowl.
- 11. Mix the ingredients in the bowl well.
- 12. Wash the apples.
- 13. Cut the apples into quarters.
- 14. Remove the core from the apple quarters.
- 15. Cut the flesh into small, bite-sized cubes.
- 16. Put the apple cubes into a bowl.
- 17. Add the shrimp to the bowl.
- 18. Pour the vinaigrette over the apple and shrimp mixture.
- 19. Mix everything in the bowl well.
- 20. Season the mixture to taste with salt.
- 21. Season the mixture to taste with pepper.
