🍰 Crunchy Apple Oat Dessert

Ingredients
- 2 large apples
- 2 tbsp lemon juice
- 2 tbsp liquid honey
- 40 g soft butter (+ 1 tbsp for greasing the ramekins)
- 2 tbsp chopped almonds
- 40 g raw cane sugar
- 2 tbsp spelt whole wheat flour
- 1 tbsp rolled oats
- 0.5 tsp cinnamon
Instructions
- 1. Wash the apples thoroughly under running water.
- 2. Peel the apples completely.
- 3. Remove the core from the apples.
- 4. Cut the apple flesh into small cubes.
- 5. Mix the apple cubes with the lemon juice and the honey.
- 6. Grease four small baking dishes with some butter.
- 7. Fill the greased dishes with the apple-honey mixture.
- 8. Quickly rub the almonds, sugar, flour, oats, butter, and cinnamon together between your hands to form crumbly bits.
- 9. Sprinkle the toppings evenly over the apples in the dishes.
- 10. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius conventional heat (180 degrees Celsius fan-forced or gas mark 3).
- 11. Bake the crumble for about 20 minutes, until the top is golden brown.
- 12. Take the finished dessert out of the oven.
- 13. Enjoy the crumble while it is still warm.
