  5. 5. Cut the peeled apples into four equal pieces.
  6. 6. Remove the core from the apple pieces.
  7. 7. Cut the apple flesh into small cubes.
  8. 8. Add the apple cubes and the cranberries to a large bowl.
  9. 9. Pour the lemon juice over the fruits.
  10. 10. Sprinkle the sugar over the mixture.
  11. 11. Mix all ingredients well together.
  12. 12. Let the fruit mixture sit for two hours.
