🍽️ Fruity-Spicy Apple Chutney with Ginger

Ingredients
- 400 g tart apples
- 50 g fresh ginger
- 1 red chili pepper
- 100 g rice syrup
- 220 ml apple cider vinegar
- 80 ml apple juice
Instructions
- 1. Peel the apples, cut them into quarters, and remove the core. Dice the flesh into small cubes. Peel the ginger as well and slice it into thin rounds or chop it finely. Wash the chili pepper, slice it into rings, and remove the white inner membranes and seeds.
- 2. Combine the rice syrup, vinegar, and apple juice in a pot and bring the mixture to a boil. Add the ginger, chili rings, and apple cubes, then let everything simmer on low heat for 15 to 20 minutes.
- 3. Fill the hot mixture immediately into previously sterilized jars. Turn the jars upside down for 10 minutes to seal the lids, then let them cool down.
