  5. 5. Peel the apple.
  6. 6. Remove the core.
  7. 7. Dice the flesh.
  8. 8. Save one quarter of the apple for later.
  9. 9. Heat oil in a pot.
  10. 10. Sauté the cauliflower, apple cubes, and onions briefly.
  11. 11. Stir in the turmeric.
  12. 12. Deglaze with the broth.
  13. 13. Let the soup simmer on low heat for about 15 minutes.
  14. 14. Heat a pan.
  15. 15. Toast the sunflower seeds without adding any extra oil.
  16. 16. Blend the soup until smooth.
  17. 17. Stir in the crème fraîche.
  18. 18. Season the soup with salt and pepper.
  19. 19. Cut the reserved apple quarter into thin strips.
  20. 20. Garnish the soup with the apple strips.
  21. 21. Add roughly chopped parsley leaves.
  22. 22. Sprinkle the toasted sunflower seeds over it.
  23. 23. Serve the soup.
